My name is Jason D. Gilmore, I was born in Hillsboro, Oregon. After several years we went from Oregon, to Washington, to California and now I am in Texas where I met my wife.

I began shooting at very early ages with 35 mm cameras, my first digital camera was a Fuji 1.3MP camera. I loved it, I took it everywhere and shot everything I could.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. In 2001 I began shooting professionally with other photographers. I assisted with weddings, and portraits. As time went on I had a great desire to start my own photography business. One day that dream became a reality. My wife and I started a photography business in Fort Worth, Texas.

I first started shooting only portraits, but as two months went by, I began getting customers interested in hiring me for their wedding day. This was a big step, but then it took off. In my first year I was booked every month and shot over 20 weddings myself.

I love photographing weddings because it is such a beautiful, and special day. The energy of everyone getting ready, the nerves of the bride and groom right before the walk down the isle, the emotions of the parents watching their little girl walk down the isle, then making her first step as a married woman. It is an amazing experience and I am thankful so many couples have allowed me to share this day with them.

What is our style of shooting?
Our style of shooting is a combination of traditional, photo journalistic, and candid styles.

We call this free style. This style allows us to capture those special moments on your day, and the beauty of human naturalness without giving you the same boring 'cheesy' pictures many are familiar with.

We are certain you will be satisfied with the photography coverage we provide.

What type of weddings do we cover?
We have covered a wide range of weddings, from 20 people to 300 people, from wonderful natural daylight to very dark lighting, from a small historical home to a full chapel, from a $500 wedding to a six figure wedding, and for a great variety of people. Our services are perfect for all types of weddings.

Do we limit the amount of pictures we take?
No, we try and capture as many moments as time allows. Since our packages below include two photographers we cover as much of your event as possible, capturing all of those special little moments others may miss.

Do we only shoot in Texas?
No, we do offer destination wedding packages. E-mail us for a quote.

A family member has offered to provide photography for us do you have any suggestions about this?
That is a wonderful gift, and a kind gesture. But, we do strongly encourage ones not to hire family or close friends for video or photography services. Why?
How close would your friendship be if something happened and your photographs were lost, or the photos were blurry, or the lighting was off. This can terribly damage friendships, and family relationships.

Another reason is, a professional photographer has backup equipment and, while taking the creative charge, a true professional photographer is open to ideas of photographs from you. Since a family member or friend is doing this as a favor, how much can you really ask of him? Our recommendation, leave it to the professionals and let your family members and friends enjoy your special day.
