What is digital archiving?

It is taking your original printed photographs, slides, and film negatives and backing them up onto a DVD.

Imagine all of the history that was lost due to hurricane Katrina, if many had their images backed up onto a DVD,

ones who lost memorable possessions would still have their photographs, one of life's most precious possessions.

We can even restore older photographs that are slightly damaged.
